Frédéric Pignolo is the Co-Founder and Chairman of SwissChain Holding SA. Active in digital assets and blockchain-related ventures since the early stages of the industry, he has contributed to the development of investment initiatives and long-term strategic projects connected to the evolution of digital finance. Loïc Giacomini is the Co-Founder of SwissChain Holding SA. Gérald Vernez
Gérald Vernez, who holds degrees in geology, meteorology, and security policy and crisis management, began his career in the field of special projects and risk management.
He then joined the Army General Staff in 1996, where he contributed to crisis preparedness efforts related to Y2K, developed the command and control structures for the Army XXI project, and subsequently established and led the Swiss Armed Forces’ information operations.
As General Staff Colonel, he has also been Chief of staff of the Armed Forces Command Staff. He subsequently held senior positions in the fields of cybersecurity within the government, the Swiss Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Defense, notably as Cyber Defense Delegate, where he led the response to several major cyberattacks and the establishment of Switzerland’s national cyber defense capabilities.
He founded the digiVolution Foundation in 2020, followed by dVCyberGroup SA in 2023 (SONAR Partners SA as of June 2026), through which he contributed notably to the security of the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. He serves on the board of directors of the Swiss-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry CASCI, is a member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences SATW, and chairs the initiative committee for Switzerland’s digital security and sovereignty.
Biba Homsy
Biba Homsy is a non-executive member of the Council of Advisors of SwissChain Holding SA.
Active in digital assets regulation and compliance since 2015, she has contributed to the development of legal and regulatory frameworks for blockchain, crypto-assets and tokenisation across Switzerland and Luxembourg, where she runs her own law firm, Homsy Legal.
As Member of the Council of Advisors, she supports SwissChain’s regulatory positioning and compliance strategy, for long-term market access.
Jonas Renggli
An expert in digital transformation and financial processes, Jonas Renggli helps optimize operational infrastructures and drive digitalization initiatives that fuel the growth of the organizations he supports. As a serial entrepreneur, he has founded and scaled multiple ventures in consulting and tech, including Be Creative.
With over 13 years of experience working alongside Swiss financial institutions, he brings a deep, nuanced understanding of both the Swiss and international banking markets.
